Orders
Commission an exclusive portrait of your beloved pet or surprise someone with a unique and meaningful gift.
Through the following form, you can reserve a spot in my schedule. You will be able to indicate the number of subjects in the artwork, the desired size, and whether you would like a custom background.
Once it is time to begin your portrait, we will discuss all the details together to bring your idea to life.
How bookings work
To reserve a portrait, you must do so through the form available in this section. There, you will be asked to provide some general information about the idea you have in mind, and you will be able to pay a €50 reservation fee.
This fee is used to secure a slot in my schedule and to prevent that time from being allocated to other projects. For this reason, the reservation is non-refundable. However, the amount paid will be deducted from the final price of the portrait.
Once the reservation has been completed, you will receive a confirmation email along with a set of instructions regarding the type of photograph required. Since this is a realistic portrait, the more detail and quality the reference photo has, the better the final result will be.
If it is not possible to take the photographs exactly according to the instructions provided, don’t worry: you can send the ones you have available, and I will work from them.
Once your turn in the schedule arrives, I will get in touch with you to review the photos you have sent. At that time, we can talk about the subject of the portrait, their personality, and the idea you have in mind.
You will also be able to let me know if you have any preference regarding the background color or provide any additional details if you would like a custom background.
Once all the details have been finalized, the final payment for the portrait will be made, with the €50 reservation fee deducted from the total amount.
Payment can be made via Bizum or bank transfer.
Once the final payment has been made, the portrait process will begin. This is a work that requires time and dedication, during which I will keep you informed about its progress.
If the reference photos are of low quality, I may need your involvement more actively during this stage to ensure that the artwork is developing correctly.
Once the creative process is complete, the most anticipated moment arrives: delivery. The artwork can be collected in person at my studio.
If the portrait needs to be shipped, it will be carefully packaged with the utmost care. Inside the package, you will find instructions regarding handling and the framing process.
Shipping costs will be added to the final price of the portrait and will vary depending on the destination. Delivery will be carried out by a specialized shipping company that ensures proper handling and safe delivery of the artwork.

FAQS
What´s included in the price?
The price includes the creation of your pet’s portrait, carefully produced using high-quality materials, as well as a gradient background that highlights the main subject.
If you would like a more elaborate or customised background, the price may be adjusted depending on the complexity of the requested design. This option will be assessed and agreed upon in advance during the design phase of the project.
As a general guide, the following options are available:
Simple customised background (+15%): includes small elements that add a personal touch, such as the animal’s favourite toy or other meaningful objects, while maintaining a simple and balanced composition.
Medium background (+35%): backgrounds with suggested and softly blurred environments, or compositions that contextualise the subject, such as placing them on a blanket, a cushion, or in a gently defined setting.
Complex background (+50%): fully realistic backgrounds, with a high level of detail and an elaborate composition that places the pet within a clearly defined and carefully developed environment.
What materials do you use?
I work exclusively with high-quality materials to ensure the durability and finish of each portrait.
For the support, I use professional papers such as Canson Mi-Teintes Velvet or Clairefontaine Pastelmat, both especially suited for pastel and pencil techniques due to their texture and their ability to hold pigment.
As for pencils, I usually work with well-known brands such as Faber-Castell, Stabilo Carbothello, Derwent, or Caran d’Ache, which offer excellent colour quality and precision in detail.
For the base layers, I use professional soft pastels, mainly from brands such as Schmincke or Rembrandt, which allow me to gradually build depth and chromatic richness in the portrait.
I also avoid using fixative sprays in order to prevent any possible alteration or change in the original colour of the pigments.
How long does it take you to complete each portrait?
The time required depends mainly on the size of the portrait and the complexity of the project.
For smaller formats, the artwork typically requires more than 30 hours of work. It is a meticulous artistic process, worked layer by layer to achieve a high level of detail, with special attention given to the texture of the fur, the expression, and the depth of color.
For this reason, the minimum delivery time for smaller portraits is approximately one month. This timeframe is also related to the level of detail and care that defines each piece. However, as mentioned above, the delivery time will vary depending on the size of the artwork and the complexity of the portrait.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, I do ship internationally. The shipping cost will be added to the final price of the artwork, depending on the destination.
Each portrait is carefully packaged using appropriate materials to ensure that the artwork arrives safely and in perfect condition.
In addition, the portrait will include instructions and recommendations for proper framing, with the aim of preserving the artwork and ensuring its best presentation.
How is payment made?
Once your turn in the reservation list arrives, I will get in touch with you to review the photographs of your pet and discuss the portrait design proposal together.
Once we have clearly defined the final design and delivery timeframe, payment of the remaining balance will be requested, with the €50 reservation deposit deducted from the final amount.
The project will begin once this final payment has been completed.
What do I need to get started?
I will guide you on the type of photographs I need in order to create the portrait. Having a high-quality image with enough detail makes the process of creating the artwork much easier.
However, please don’t worry if you don’t have perfect photographs. In many cases, I create portraits of pets who are no longer with us, so it isn’t possible to take new pictures. In that case, simply send me all the material you have available, and I will work with it.
In addition to the photographs, I like to get to know the subject of the portrait a little better. That’s why I will also ask you for a brief description of their personality and, of course, their name. I love being able to refer to the pets I paint by name.
What is the procedure for commissioning a portrait?
As this is a personalised and exclusive work, I operate through a commission schedule. To reserve a portrait, a non-refundable deposit of €50 is required, which secures your place on the waiting list. This deposit will be deducted from the final price of the artwork.
The reservation guarantees a space in my schedule that, once your turn arrives, I will dedicate exclusively to your portrait, declining other commissions during that period.
If you wish, you may contact me beforehand to receive an estimated waiting time.
Once the deposit has been made, I will get in touch with you to begin the creative process. During this first conversation, we will discuss the type of portrait you have in mind, I will get to know the subject of the artwork, and I will let you know what materials or references I need in order to begin once your turn in the schedule arrives.
